12/11/08: A gruelling 3 and a half hours later after leaving Warwick we arrived on Nottingham campus. Nottingham had waited for us and we still played the game. A pre-arranged agreement between the two captains and referree led us to a early finish due to sunset. Unfortunately, Nottingham 1st managed to put in a try before half time. Warwick weren't able to get one back. Some definate points to build on but sadly a 0-5 defeat - tough game ladies.

05/11/08:  After a fantastic match in which Warwick were winning for a good part of the game, a quick succession of injuries in the last 20 minutes led to a 10-19 defeat. Well played to the squad and a superb effort especially since so many played out of position. Finally a big CONGRATULATIONS on being the first team to score against Notts 2's!!

This season has kicked off to a promising start for WWRFC. Despite inital setbacks from opposing teams the club is on track for a great season. Watch this space.
